"Only you would be foolish enough, reckless enough, to come after me here. You were a danger to everyone on the road as a rider, and you will probably be a danger as a Toa, too. But thank you."

Orkahm in Metru Nui

Orkahm was Matau's chief rival in Metru Nui. During the Toa Metru's quest for the Great Disks, Matau searched for Orkahm to learn the location of the Le-Metru Great Disk. After searching through Orkahm's journal, he found that Orkahm had traveled to Moto-Hub Sector Three, which had long been known for the sheer number of chute malfunctions that took place there. Orkahm was threatened into going there in return for the life of his Ussal, Pewku. Matau tracked Orkahm there, where he found him snared in a tangle of transport cables by Nidhiki and Krekka. Matau untangled him and they barely escaped the Morbuzakh vines that attacked them.[1]

Orkahm informed Matau as to the location of the Le-Metru Disk (inside a Force Sphere), and joined him, Toa Nokama, and Vhisola while they searched for their disks. The group traveled to the Notch, where they spotted the Force Sphere containing the Disk. Matau jumped into the sphere and retrieved the Disk, though the Force Sphere imploded as he escaped, destroying The Notch in the process. When the Toa Metru entered the Great Furnace, Orkahm merged with Ahkmou, Ehrye, Vhisola, Nuhrii and Tehutti and formed a Matoran Nui, who helped the Toa to penetrate the inner chamber of the Morbuzakh. He later separated from the other Matoran.[2]

Orkahm was later forced into a Matoran Sphere along with the rest of Metru Nui's population, but was saved by the Toa Metru. During his time in the pod, he was physically weakened and his memories erased. He was awakened by the Toa Metru along with the others (the Toa turned into Turaga in the process) on the island of Mata Nui.[3]

Mata Nui[]

After arriving on Mata Nui, Orkahm assisted in the construction of Le-Koro, following Matau's instruction and using melted-down pieces from Airships in which the Toa arrived on Mata Nui with the Matoran.[4] Orkahm lived in Le-Koro for a thousand years, facing the darkness of Makuta Teridax, who menaced the island, and his infected Rahi. On Mata Nui, he was a member of the Gukko Force.Skabelon:OnlineCitation

During an attack on Le-Koro, Orkahm, the other members of the Gukko Force, and Tamaru were the only ones to keep from being captured by the Nui-Rama swarms. Later during a second attack, he, along with the other members, saddled up and rode into battle. Matau and the other Le-Matoran were eventually freed with the help of Onua.Skabelon:OnlineCitation

When the Bohrok attacked Mata Nui and overran Le-Koro, Orkahm was among the Matoran to have his mask replaced with a Krana.Skabelon:ComicCitation After Kongu and Tamaru led the swarm into a trap by the Boxors, all of the Le-Matoran had their masks returned to them.[BOA, Ep. 3] After the defeat of the Bohrok-Kal, the Matoran were rebuilt into stronger forms resembling those they had on Metru Nui.[BKOA, Ep. 3]

Return to Metru Nui[]

After Metru Nui was rediscovered, Orkahm and the other Matoran constructed boats to return there, and upon arrival began work to restore the city, which had lost its grandeur due to the Great Cataclysm. He temporarily stopped his work of reconstruction on order of Jaller, to force the Turaga to reveal where the Toa Nuva had gone, but he eventually got back to work.[5] When Jaller returned to Metru Nui, he also returned to Orkahm ownership of Pewku, his former Ussal.Skabelon:CN

Consequent to the damage suffered by the Great Spirit Robot in the Battle of Bara Magna, Orkahm left Metru Nui and went with the other surviving Matoran to live on Spherus Magna.[6][7]

Abilities and Traits[]

Orkahm is responsible and careful but also slow, meticulous and has little imagination. He was an Ussal rider like Matau once was, but tended to possess more control. Orkahm's favorite Ussal was Pewku.[1]

Like all Le-Matoran, Orkahm has increased agility in the trees, yet is clumsy on flat land.

Tools[]

Orkahm favored a Level 4 Regeneration Kanoka with a code of 574, which he used to fix Chutes.Skabelon:CN He also had a cart he used for travel across Metru Nui.
