Piatra is a Po-Matoran native to Metru Nui.
Biography[]
Metru Nui[]
On Metru Nui, Piatra lived and worked in Po-Metru. He was captured by the Vahki under the command of Makuta Teridax, disguised as Turaga Dume. He was then forced into a Matoran Sphere but was later rescued by the Toa Metru and awakened on the shores of Naho Bay on the island of Mata Nui.[1]
Mata Nui[]
His time in a Matoran Sphere caused Piatra to decrease in size and strength as well as lose his memories of Metru Nui. He helped in the building of Po-Koro alongside the other Matoran, under Turaga Onewa, taking the materials from dismantled Airships which had been used to bring the Matoran to Mata Nui.[2]
On Mata Nui, Piatra was a member of the Po-Koro Guard and guarded the village's entrance with Ally.Skabelon:OnlineCitation
Piatra took refuge with his fellow Po-Matoran in Ga-Koro after attacks by the Tahnok swarms threatened to overwhelm Po-Koro when the Bohrok attacked Mata Nui. After the Pahrak swarms cornered the Ga-Matoran and Po-Matoran, Piatra attempted to prevent their destroying the village, along with all the other Matoran present, before the Bohrok were deactivated. He later returned to Po-Koro.[BOA, Ep. 5-7] He was rebuilt along with the other Matoran during the peaceful time directly after the Battle Against the Bohrok-Kal.[BKOA, Ep. 3]
Return to Metru Nui[]
When the Matoran returned to Metru Nui, Piatra helped in the construction of boats to help in the return trip. He also helped in the reconstruction of Metru Nui, as the city had been severely damaged in the Great Cataclysm. He temporarily stopped his work of reconstruction on order of Jaller, to force the Turaga to reveal where the Toa Nuva had gone, but he eventually got back to work.[3]
When Makuta Teridax took control over Matoran Universe, he appointed Ahkmou to be the new "Turaga" of Metru Nui, who then in turn ordered Piatra and the other Po-Matoran to create statues of Teridax.Skabelon:OnlineCitation When the death of Teridax freed the Matoran, the surviving Matoran of Metru Nui, including Piatra, abandoned the city, which had been damaged when the Makuta was killed, and relocated to Spherus Magna.[4][5]
