The Acid Cloud was part of an illusion of Karzahni's that Lesovikk had. In the illusion, the Acid Cloud was the enemy that Lesovikk's team fought and defeated instead of dying at the hands of the Zyglak. In the illusion, the Acid Cloud was destroyed by Lesovikk.
