Agni was a Ta-Matoran native to Ta-Metru and a member of the Ta-Koro Guard.

History

Metru Nui

Little is known of Agni's past in Metru Nui prior to the Great Cataclysm. At some point he was summoned to the Coliseum by the False Turaga Dume, along with all the other Matoran. In the Coliseum, he was placed into a Matoran Pod. He was later saved by the Toa Metru, who gave up their Toa Power to save the Matoran. He gradually lost his memory about Metru Nui and became shorter and weaker because of the effect of the Matoran pod.

Mata Nui

Agni after The Rebuilding

Agni was one of various Matoran of Ta-Koro to join in the Ta-Matoran Guard. He fought against the infected Rahi and the Bohrok during the Bohrok War, as a part of his duty as a guard. After the defeat of the Bohrok-Kal, Agni was summoned to the Kini-Nui, where he was built into a larger, stronger, and more agile form by the Turaga.

Agni continued to be a guard. He talked to Hahli briefly when she was visiting Ta-Koro. After the Great Kolhii Championship, Agni escaped from Ta-Koro with the other Matoran as the Rahkshi destroyed it.

Return to Metru Nui

He later traveled back to Metru Nui, where he helped to rebuild it until the Staff of Artakha was used to repair the rest of the city. He also attended the ceremony at the Coliseum for Matoro and the later ceremony where Teridax revealed that he had taken control of Mata Nui's body.

Spherus Magna

After the Battle of Bara Magna and the death of Makuta Teridax at the hands of Mata Nui, Agni evacuated the heavily damaged Great Spirit Robot, along with the other Matoran, and migrated to the newly-reformed planet of Spherus Magna. He is currently living with the other Ta-Matoran and the Fire Tribe inside the Great Volcano.

Powers and Tools

As with all Ta-Matoran, Agni possessed inaccessible Elemental Fire powers; this manifested in the form of a natural resistance to heat and fire.
