The Air Axe was Toa Mata Lewa's Toa Tool. It was very useful for slicing through plants, as well as for defending himself. Lewa also used it to focus his Elemental Power over Air. Later, when he became a Toa Nuva via Energized Protodermis, Lewa's Axe was transformed into a pair of Air Katana.
Trivia
- In BIONICLE Heroes, Toa Kongu used the Air Axe as his primary weapon. It could be upgraded to Toa Metru Matau's Aero Slicers.
