An Archivist was a Matoran who worked in the Onu-Metru Archives. Their purpose was to archive objects and Rahi, and also to take care of the archives. Some archivists never returned from there and stood in the archives for the rest of their lives because most of it was tunnels and mazes.
Archivists had one of the most dangerous Matoran jobs in all of Metru Nui, as many were killed by powerful Rahi in the lower levels, or lost until death.
It is highly unlikely that archiving continued after the Matoran Universe was evacuated, or weather Mavrah continued archiving on the Red Star.
