Arktinen was an Ice Smith on Mata Nui.

History

Metru Nui

Arktinen lived and worked in Ko-Metru until he was placed into a Matoran Sphere by Makuta Teridax and lost all his memory and became smaller and weaker.

Mata Nui

Upon being awaken on Mata Nui by the Toa Metru, Arktinen aided in the construction of Ko-Koro and lived there. He was an Ice Smith in Ko-Koro and carved ice statues. He was later rebuilt into a stronger form at the Kini-Nui after the defeat of the Bohrok-Kal. He also helped construct boats for the return trip to Metru Nui.

Return to Metru Nui

After returning to Metru Nui, Arktinen helped to rebuild the city until the Staff of Artakha did the rest. He was also present during the ceremony held in honor of Toa Mahri Matoro's sacrifice.

He later evacuated the Matoran Universe onto Spherus Magna.
