BIONICLE: Metru Nui - City of Legends was a guide book written by Greg Farshtey and was released on August 1, 2004. The info and details in this book was written in a travel guide format; advertising different locations, residents, Rahi, and shops in Metru Nui.

The guide is divided into the six Metru. Each Metru is described, and the specific areas and inhabitants of each are described in detail. The descriptions are accompanied by full-color artwork, much of it taken from scenes in BIONICLE 2: Legends of Metru Nui and the Toa Metru Promo CDs.

Bonus contents[]

At the center of this guide book are full-page pictures of the six individual Toa Metru and one sheet of the Toa Metru's Toa Disk stickers between page 32 and 33. On page 30, there is a collection list with the Kanoka Disk codes (This is a reprint from one of the 2004 Bionicle comics except the list is smaller in size). On the last page, there is a map showing Metru Nui and pointing out the locations mentioned throughout the book.

Website companion[]

This guide book had a website companion, the Metru Nui Ministry of Tourism. It was available only if the ISBN from the copyright page and the Kanoka Code were typed and entered on the website.

  • The guide shows that the Dark Hunter Prison is located in the boarders of Onu-Metru, but its secret entrance is in Po-Metru.
  • On the page with the map, in the Matoran Language, it reads "Metro Nui Locations", while it should read as "Metru Nui Locations".
