Bionicle Adventures 4: Legends of Metru Nui is the fourth book in the BIONICLE Adventures series and came out in 2004. It was the novel for the second Bionicle movie and contained eight screenshots of the movie.

Story

Lhikan is in the Great Temple, when Dark Hunters Nidhiki and Krekka attack him. Lhikan manages to escape, and delivers six Toa Stones to six Matoran: Vakama, Nokama, Matau, Whenua, Onewa and Nuju. These six matoran realize that they have to go into the Great Temple where they were transformed into the Toa Metru. Later Turaga Dume calls them imposters so they go into hiding. What they did not know is that Turaga Dume was actually Teridax. Onewa, Whenua, and Nuju were captured while Vakama, Nokama, and Matau stayed free. Eventually everyone found their mask power except Vakama. This made him feel like he would never become a real Toa. In the prison Vakama, Nokama, and Matau came in search of Toa Lhikan but only found their fellow Toa brothers and Turaga Lhikan. It was then when they realized that Turaga Dume was actually Teridax. They rushed to the coliseum just to find out that they are two late and all of the matoran were already put to sleep. United all of the Toa combine there powers and freeze Teridax in protodermis. They collected all of the sleeping Matoran and took them to Mata Nui were the Toa Metru would give up their powers for the Matoran and become Turaga.
