Birth of the Rahaga is the twenty-fifth BIONICLE Comic.
Plot
The comic begins with the Toa Hordika, Rahaga, and some Visorak buried under rubble. The unconscious Rahaga Kualus then begins to dream about when the Toa Hagah stole the Kanohi Avohkii.
Norik and Iruini are outside a Brotherhood of Makuta fortress. They had stolen the Mask of Light, but now they are trying to escape, and are trapped behind a rock. Norik begins to blast some Visorak with his Lava Spear, and Iruini begins to fight the Dark Hunter Krekka. Krekka is eventually defeated by an air blast from Iruini, and a Visorak is convinced by Norik to help them escape.
Later, when they still hadn't found the other four Toa Hagah, Iruini begins to question whether the Mask of Light is really worth it. Norik states that it is, and tells about how the Toa Hagah were sworn to defend Makuta Teridax from any threats. They thought that Teridax was going to keep the Matoran safe, until he learned the truth: the Brotherhood had formed a massive Dark Hunter, Exo-Toa, and Visorak army, and planned to use it to conquer the universe, and that they had stolen the Avohkii, so it wouldn't create a Toa of Light. The Toa Hagah then stole the mask back from the Makuta, and now they were escaping.
Iruini, however, notices Nidhiki with some Visorak, who are heading to question four Toa. The Toa decide to follow Nidhiki to where he is going, eventually reaching a Visorak camp. Norik asks Iruini to get into the camp, and uses his Mask of Quick Travel to teleport to a cage. Inside, he sees four creatures, asking them where they could find the Toa Hagah. One of the creatures then states that they are the Toa Hagah, only mutated. At that moment, Roodaka, who had mutated the Toa into what she called "Rahaga," arrived. Iruini freed the Toa Hagah, and, facing the threat of a Visorak army, both Toa create a cyclone of lava to distract the spider Rahi. However, it does not stop Roodaka's Rhotuka spinners, and they hit Norik and Iruini, turning them into Rahaga. Roodaka decides to spare them, and the former Toa escape.
However, the Rahaga still have the Mask of Light, and eventually they will reach Metru Nui, where they will hide it until the time is right.
