Journey's End Part 1: All That Glitters... is the sixth comic in the BIONICLE: Glatorian comic series, and the second-to-last BIONICLE comic overall.
Plot[]
As Gresh is blown back into the sand, he thinks about how everything goes horribly so fast.
Mata Nui finally returns from the Valley of the Maze, holding a cube. After telling Raanu he needed the Prototype Robot to save Bara Magna, the Agori leader finally agreed. Once inside, Mata Nui took off the Ignika, causing his body to fall to dust. Mata Nui then placed his spirit into the robot, taking it over.
Everyone then watched as Mata Nui used the Prototype robot's powers to pull Bota Magna and Aqua Magna toward Bara Magna. But the mission was interrupted by Makuta Teridax, looking to destroy Mata Nui. He then reveals the truth to Makuta, telling him that they were destined to reunite Bara Magna, Aqua Magna, and Bota Magna into Spherus Magna. Makuta dosen't accept his destiny and makes Mata Nui a deal;he joins Teridax, and together they could rule all that exists. Mata Nui declines, saying he needs to fulfill his destiny. Teridax replies by blasting Mata Nui. Down below, the Glatorian and Agori form a plan: everyone attempts to distract Teridax so Gresh can carry out his part of the plan.
On the edge of a cliff, the Skrall are watching the struggle between Mata Nui, with some help from the Glatorian and Agori, and Teridax. They then decide to get revenge on the Glatorian and Agori, and head off into battle. Back on the ground, the Glatorian try firing explosive Thornax at Teridax, but realize that whatever the Matoran Universe is made out of can't be punctured. Mata Nui then fires on Teridax, But Teridax tells him that if he damages the Matoran Universe, he might end up killing any innocent being. Teridax then sees that the Glatorian and Agori are attempting to distract him, and he fires a blast at them.
Gresh then finds what he's looking for: a door leading inside the Makuta robot. Gresh tries opening the door, but backs away after seeing something's about to exit. The door opens, and tons of Rahkshi of Heat Vision pour out of it. Gresh then sees someone else leaving. He then attacks the being, now recognized as Takanuva, and the Toa of Light begins to fight Gresh. In the sky, Teridax tells Mata Nui that his Rahkshi will overcome the Glatorian. He then says that eventually, Mata Nui will also fall, and claims Bara Magna.
