Dikapi were a type of flightless desert bird Rahi known for their great stamina. Dikapi were excellent runners, and Po-Matoran on Mata Nui trained some to carry scouts and messengers. The Dikapi species were created by the Brotherhood of Makuta as one of the many types of Rahi within the Matoran Universe. After the Great Cataclysm and the Visorak invasion of Metru Nui, the Dikapi migrated to Mata Nui. After the defeat of Makuta Teridax, the Dikapi migrated again to Spherus Magna, where they remain.
