The Earth Tribe was one of the several tribes of Spherus Magna. The tribe mostly lived in the Bota Magna region of Spherus Magna, as a farming tribe. They wore brown and black armor.

History

Over 100,000 years ago on Spherus Magna, the Great Beings selected a warrior from each of the eight tribes to become an Element Lord and govern their respective tribe; the warrior from the Earth Tribe became the Element Lord of Earth.

Because of their connection with nature, the Earth Tribe did not take part in the war over Energized Protodermis. It is later revealed that the Earth Tribe was aware of the existence of Energized Protodermis and the Element Lord of Earth thought of keeping it for her tribe but decided against it since it would make her a target. Instead the Ice Tribe discovered it and the Earth Tribe encouraged the Ice Tribe to keep it. This caused the eventual Core War thanks to the Earth Tribe. The other tribes were not aware of their betrayal but by the time of the Shattering they became aware and exiled the Earth Tribe. When the planet finally shattered into three fragments the Earth Tribe was mostly was trapped on the Bota Magna fragment. Over 100,000 years later, the planet of Spherus Magna was reformed by Mata Nui, where the Earth Tribe currently resides. They do not plan on forming any allies with any of the other tribes.
