The Earth Tribe was one of the several tribes of Spherus Magna. The tribe mostly lived in the Bota Magna region of Spherus Magna, as a farming tribe.
History
Over 100,000 years ago on Spherus Magna, the Great Beings selected a warrior from each of the eight tribes to become an Element Lord and govern their respective tribe; the warrior from the Earth Tribe became the Element Lord of Earth.
Because of their connection with nature, the Earth Tribe did not take part in the war over Energized Protodermis. When the planet finally shattered into three fragments the Earth Tribe was mostly was trapped on the Bota Magna fragment. Over 100,000 years later, the planet of Spherus Magna was reformed by Mata Nui, where the Earth Tribe currently resides.

- The script for the cancelled fifth BIONICLE movie had a Glatorian of the Earth Tribe named "Tera" set to appear.
