Gelu was at one point the Second Glatorian for the Ice Tribe. However, he later quit the job as a Glatorian and instead worked as escort for convoys.
History
Gelu
Gelu fought for the Element Lord of Ice in the Core War. When the Shattering occurred, he ended up on the biggest part of Spherus Magna, Bara Magna.
There, he eventually took the job as the second Glatorian for the Ice Tribe after Strakk was promoted to primary Glatorian.
While in employment of the Ice Tribe, he fought Ackar and was defeated, causing Iconox to lose a large amount of Exsidian.
After the attack on Atero he decided to quit the job and became a convoy escort for the Ice Tribe, when he discovered it was more profitable. During this period, he took a map of Vulcanus from Bone Hunters, and discovered that they planned to raid the city. Ackar convinced Gelu to fight off the Hunters, a plan which succeeded. Later, while escorting a caravan across the desert, he was ambushed by the Skrall. Fortunately, the appearance of the Mask of Life in the sky distracted the Skrall, allowing him to escape and warn the caravan.
He later fought against the Skrall in Roxtus and fought Stronius. When the Agori united the villages, Gelu rejoined since Strakk was exiled.
Teridax's Arrival
When Teridax arrived, he fought with the other Glatorian with Mata Nui against the Skakdi and Rahkshi. Later, when Teridax was killed, he witnessed Mata Nui deactivate himself.
Afterwards he was assigned by Onua to guide Orde, Chiara, and Zaria on The Yesterday Quest to find the Great Beings.
Tools and Weapons
Gelu carried an Ice Slicer and a Thornax Launcher.
Set Information
- Gelu was released in the summer of 2009 as one of the Glatorian legends and contained 52 pieces.
- Gelu's set included one Life Counter.

- Gelu was the only member of the Glatorian Legends that did not appear in BIONICLE: The Legend Reborn.
