Hapaka were large herding dog-like Rahi found on the islands of Metru Nui and Mata Nui.
Hapaka were often trained to guard Po-Koro's precious Mahi and Husi flocks. They were friendly and curious creatures that made loyal pets and companions. In Metru Nui, Ga-Matoran unsuccessfully tried to use them to drive away Kavinika.
