- “The problem with invisibility, [Vakama] had discovered, was that he could not see himself either. It was no easy trick to run when he couldn't see his feet.”

Pronunciation | HOO-nah |
The Kanohi Huna was the Mask of Concealment. It gave its user the power to turn completely invisible.[1] Despite the user's invisibility, though, they still cast a shadow. The only difference between the Great and the Noble versions of the Huna was that the Noble form possessed a shorter duration of power. A Huna-wearer could only be detected by someone seeing their shadow or the usage of a Kanohi Arthron, Elda or Rode.
Huna were carved out of a mixture of Enlarge, Shrink and Freeze Kanoka on Metru Nui.[2]
Example Usages[]
- Great: Toa Vakama once used his Huna make himself invisible to Makuta.[3]
- Noble: Centuries later, Turaga Vakama used his Huna to drive the Rahi Nui into a rage and trick it into running into a wall.[4]

The Noble Huna was first released in orange in 2001, as part of the Turaga Vakama set. It was also released in the other colors of the Turaga: light blue, tan, dark grey, lime green and light grey, so the other Turaga could wear it. It was also released in the Muaka and Kane-Ra set in the color black, meant to represent an Infected Kanohi. It was also released in black-and-silver with the Tehutti set of 2004. A blue version was included in the promotional McDonald's Macku set and with her 2003 set as well.
The Great Huna was first released in Vakama's Toa Metru set in 2004, and was also seen on his Toa Disk. It was later seen in 2005 in a mutated in Vakama's Toa Hordika set. In 2006, the 2004 version was re-released with Balta, and later with Sarda in the following year; additionally, two dark green Hordika Great Huna were included as leg armor for Karzahni.
