Template:Suva The Kini were six temples built by the Matoran of Mata Nui to honor the prophesied Toa Mata. There was one in each village; all six were destroyed by the reawakened Bohrok swarms. If the camoflague system recreated the island, the Kinis would be recreated along with the Koros and Kini-Nui.
Known Kini
- The Ta-Kini was the Temple of Fire in Ta-Koro, built by the Ta-Matoran in honour of Toa Mata Tahu.
- The Ga-Kini was Ga-Koro's Temple of Water, built by the Ga-Matoran and dedicated to Toa Mata Gali.
- The Le-Kini was Le-Koro's Temple of Air, built by the Le-Matoran and dedicated to Toa Mata Lewa.
- The Po-Kini was the Temple of Stone in Po-Koro, built by the Po-Matoran in honour of Toa Mata Pohatu.
- The Onu-Kini was the Temple of Earth in Onu-Koro, built by the Onu-Matoran in honour of Toa Mata Onua.
- The Ko-Kini was Ko-Koro's Temple of Ice, built by the Ko-Matoran and dedicated to Toa Mata Kopaka.
Other appearances
In the commercial for Kohrak-Kal, Ko-Kini is shown, where Kohrak-Kal knocks down a pillar. It also appears in Bionicle, It is visited by Kopaka after a showdown with some Kohrak Va. Turaga Nuju then tells him the Bohrok are heading for Ko-Koro.
