Kra- was the Matoran prefix meaning "shadow". Its usage denoted that the subject referenced was associated with shadow, particularly the Element of Shadow.

There are no known users of the prefix "Kra-". As Shadow Matoran did not use the prefix due to not seeing themselves as a "tribe" like the other Matoran types.
