The Kanohi Kualsi was the Mask of Quick-Travel. It allowed the user to instantly move to anywhere they could see within their field of vision, or Teleport. They could take their tools with them, but not other beings.

Iruini's mask was in honor of a past hero, causing the erroneous belief that his Kualsi was not in the actual shape of a Kualsi. However, it has been confirmed that his mask was in honor of a hero who wore a Kualsi.
Greg Farshtey has confirmed that a Kualsi wearer can go through transparent barriers such as windows
If somone was sharing an Akaku Nuva with a Kualsi user, that being could go through walls.
