The Lake of Lava was a lake on Voya Nui. The Chamber of Life was located directly underneath it. When the Piraka enslaved the Voya Nui Matoran with Antidermis, they forced the workers to drain the Lake of Lava, because the Piraka believed the Kanohi Ignika was beneath it. The project was later abandoned.
