Nothing is known about Maglya's original life in Metru Nui, other than he lived in Ta-Metru. At some point, he travelled to the Coliseum, where he was placed in a Matoran Pod. Eventually, he was rescued by the Toa Metru, who then sacrificed their Toa Power in order to awaken him and the other Matoran. As a side-effect of being in the Pod, Maglya lost his memory of his life on Metru Nui and shrank into a smaller, weaker form.
After the events of the Great Rescue, Maglya was brought to Mata Nui by the Toa Metru. He lived in Ta-Koro and was a skilled lava surfer. He was also an acquaintance of Takua's, as he once kept hold of the other Matoran's lavaboard for him. He was later rebuilt into a stronger form at the Kini-Nui. He was also evacuated from Ta-Koro when the Rahkshi attacked the village.
Return to Metru NuiEdit
He, along with all the other Matoran, eventually returned to Metru Nui and he helped to rebuild the city, until the Staff of Artakha did the rest of the work. He was also present during the ceremony honoring the loss of Matoro.
After the Battle of Bara Magna and the death of Makuta Teridax at the hands of Mata Nui, Maglya evacuated the heavily damaged Great Spirit Robot along with the other Matoran and migrated to the newly-reformed planet of Spherus Magna.
Powers and ToolsEdit
Like all Ta-Matoran, Maglya possessed inaccessible Elemental powers of Fire, which manifested themselves in the form of a natural resistance to heat and fire.
