A Mahi

Mahi were placid Rahi that lived in groups on the plains of Mata Nui. Although peaceful by nature, it was quick to react to dangerous situations and its opponents would try to avoid the Rahi's horns and hooves, which it could use with surprising speed. They also seemed to have a suprising affection for Pohatu Nuva.Also, when Gahlok-Kal took Pohatu's Nuva Symbol, it magnetized several Mahi to Pohatu.

A Mahi's horns were quite valubale to Po-Matoran because they made a lot of weapons out of them, such as the Po-Koro's guards' spears.
