Matoran Nui as a set.

Matoran Nui were fusions of six Matoran of different elements. They were faster and stronger than an average Toa, but took great energy to form. In the BIONICLE story, two Matoran Nui have been seen so far.

Known Matoran Nui

• On Metru Nui, Nuhrii, Vhisola, Orkahm, Tehutti, Ahkmou, and Ehrye formed a Matoran Nui to aid the Toa Metru in getting to the Morbuzakh.
• On Mata Nui, Jaller, Macku, Kongu, Onepu, Hewkii and Matoro formed a Matoran Nui to fight a Nui-Jaga.

Set Information

• A Matoran Nui was released in 2001 as a combiner set of the six McDonalds sets.

Trivia

• Although it is possible for other types of Matoran to become a Matoran Nui, the only types of Matoran who have been seen to form one are Ta-Matoran, Ga-Matoran, Le-Matoran, Onu-Matoran, Po-Matoran, and Ko-Matoran, probably because these are most common elements, and the storyline is centered around characters of these six elements.
