The Matoran Recharge Center or the Matoran Feeding Center was a place in Ga-Metru where the Matoran went once a year to "eat", or absorb energy. It was initially destroyed by Makuta Teridax through the Great Cataclysm. 1,001 years later, once the Matoran had returned to the island city, the Recharge Center was repaired by the Staff of Artakha's power. The Recharge Center was subsequently abandoned by the Matoran after the death of Teridax and the shut-down of the entire Matoran Universe.
