History

Metru Nui

Nuhrii on Metru Nui

 

In Metru Nui, Nuhrii was one of the matoran who taught Vakama the art of Mask Making. Nuhrii's jealousy made him angry with Vakama and, determined to find fame, he followed Ahkmou with his plan. Nuhrii then parted ways with the other Matoran and sought to find the Ta-Metru Great Disk so he could forge it into the ultimate mask of power. During his journey he was discovered by Vakama who had become a Toa, and was then told to lead him and Onewa to the Ta-Metru disk. When the Toa Metru were in danger inside the Great Furnace, he fused with the other five Matoran into a Matoran Nui and assisted the Toa with defeating the Morbuzakh. After splitting back into their seperate selves, Nuhrii left the other Matoran and departed from the Great Furnace, but only to be captured by Vahki and placed into a Matoran sphere on Teridax's orders.

Mata Nui

On Mata Nui, Nuhrii became a member of the Ta-Koro Guard. He guarded the gates of Ta-Koro, wearing a new black powerless Kanohi Kaukau. He was also rebuilt at the Kini-Nui into a stronger form by the Turaga and renamed Nuri. He later evacuated Ta-Koro during the Rahkshi attack on the village.

Return to Metru Nui

Nuri later returned to Metru Nui and helped to rebuild it until the Staff of Artakha was activated. After learning about his past, he decided to change his name back from Nuri to Nuhrii. He was also present during the ceremony for the recently deceased Toa Mahri Matoro.

Spherus Magna

After the Battle of Bara Magna and the death of Makuta Teridax at the hands of Mata Nui, Nuhrii evacuated the heavily damaged Great Spirit Robot along with the other Matoran and migrated to the newly-reformed planet of Spherus Magna.

Personality

Nuhrii was jealous of Vakama because his former student made finer masks than him. Also, Vakama was even asked personally by Turaga Dume to assist in the making of a Mask of Time. This jealousy eventually turned into anger.

Powers and Tools

As with all Ta-Matoran, Nuhrii possessed inaccessible Elemental Fire powers; this manifested in the form of a natural resistance to heat and fire.

Nuhrii carried a Kanoka Disk Launcher in Metru Nui. He most often had a level 3 Remove Poison Kanoka loaded, due to the amount of poisonous reptiles in Ta-Metru.
