Their name came from their uncanny ability to shift to a ghost like form and "phase" through solid objects. Phase Dragons were enigmatic Rahi which loved speed. They used to chase airships and vehicles speeding along the Le-Metru test track, as well as other Rahi. when the Visorak invaded Metru Nui they started chasing anything that moved, sometimes they charged to get something to run and would accidentally cause harm.
