Ruki were common fish Rahi with strong jaws. They were commonly fished in Ga-Koro, and were sold to outlying villages.
History
A school of Ruki fish would occasionally bite unsuspecting Matoran fingers that happen to stray into the water. They were known to be the natural enemies of Tarakava, and also had been known to drive the larger Rahi off. They often posed a problem for Ga-Matoran, as they chew through nets, dams, etc. They have been seen in the waters off both Metru Nui and Mata Nui.
