History
Metru Nui
Sanso lived and worked in Le-Metru. He was eventually captured by the Vahki and put into a Matoran Sphere until the Toa Metru rescued him and brought him to Mata Nui.
Mata Nui
On Mata Nui, Sanso worked as a Le-Koro musician. With his flute, he, along with Makani, welcomed visitors to the village. When Nui-Rama attacked Le-Koro, he was one of the few Le-Matoran who escaped being kidnapped and kept in a Nui-Rama Hive. After Toa Onua freed Lewa, and the two in turn rescued the kidnapped Le-Matoran, Sanso was among those playing in the band during the celebration of their newfound freedom.
Later, during the Bohrok War, he and the rest of the Le-Koronans were attacked by Lehvak; the village was almost completely destroyed, and the Le-Matoran themselves had their masks replaced by mind-controlling Krana. Fortunately, thanks to the efforts of Le-Koro's last free villagers, Tamaru and Kongu, and the help of Takua and Nuparu's Boxor Squad, Sanso and the rest of Le-Koro's population was freed from the Bohrok's control.
Later, after the Bohrok-Kal crisis, Sanso and the rest of the Matoran were rebuilt into a stronger form at the Kini-Nui. After the defeat of Makuta, he also aided in the construction of boats for the return trip to Metru Nui.
Return to Metru Nui
After he and the other Matoran returned to Metru Nui, Sanso aided in the repairing of the city until the Staff of Artakha did the rest. He was also present during the ceremony for Matoro.
Spherus Magna
Sometime later he evacuated the Matoran Universe onto Spherus Magna.
