Elemental Beast

The Elemental Beasts were armies of humanoid-beasts consisting of three types: Lava, Storm, and Quake. They were created from shadow traps and the environment using Umarak's powers given by Makuta. If their bodies were destroyed, they could reform from their crystalline masks, unless the mask itself is destroyed.

Lava

The Lava Beast is the first variation of the elemental beasts primarily consisting of mutated Fire Shadow Traps. It's original purpose was to distract the Toa while Umarak went to seek the pieces of Makuta's Forbidden Mask.

Storm

The Storm Beast is the second variation of the elemental beasts primarily consisting of mutated Water Shadow Traps. Like the Lava Beast, it's purpose was to distract the Toa while Umarak went to seek the pieces of Makuta's Forbidden Mask.
