Surel was a warrior who fought in the Energized Protodermis War under the Element Lord of Ice.
History
Core War
Surel fought in the Core War, under command of the Element Lord of Ice. His best friend was another warrior named Gelu. It was his job to train the Iron Wolves, but was badly hurt and left for dead. He managed to survive and was nursed back to health by a pack of Iron Wolves who he trained in the war. They gave him food and protected him from harm. Later, he arrived to what later became Bara Magna. After The Shattering split the planet into three pieces, he lived in the White Quartz Mountains, with the Iron Wolf pack, in their hive.
Riddle of the Great Beings
Many years later, three Agori, Tarduk, Crotesius and Kirbold, stumbled into the hive and were nearly killed by the Iron Wolves before Surel could stop them. He then tried to discourage them of their journey by telling them that the Elemental Lords were battling where they were headed. Ironically, the Elemental Lord of Ice made an appearance and created an avalanche, which was headed towards them, only to have it melted by the Elemental Lord of Fire. Surel then warned the Agori of the danger they would face and allowed them to leave.
It is unknown what became of him afterwards, but he is now living on the newly reformed Spherus Magna.
Trivia
- The official representation of Surel was created by KanohiJournal member Vastolorde in the KanohiJournal Storyline Contest #2: Surel Artwork, in which his entry was the winner.
- Despite popular theory, Surel never joined the Ice Tribe. He was in the Elemental Lord of Ice's army but did not join the Glatorian social system so did not belong to a tribe.
