The BIONICLE Wiki:Requests for Adminship

This is a place for users to request to be a Sysop, Rollbacker or Bureaucrat.

If you or someone you nominate is running for adminship, only admins are allowed to vote at first. If the majority of admins agree on the user becoming an admin, then the community votes.

When you make a request, be sure to include a For section, an Against section, and a Comments section.

Requests for Sysop Rights

Actually, I'm changing my request to Sysop rights. My primary reason is that I am working through the Maintenence categories right now, and find that it would be easier if I could simply delete some pages myself, instead of having to make a list and submit it to an active Sysop for deletion. Other than that, I would mostly stay in the background. I am not very active, but I come on at least every couple of days to double-check things. Additionally, I could aid in a vandal attack, should I be on at the time. --Bold Clone 19:59, February 13, 2011 (UTC)

One thing I wish to point out: I'm not trying to make a power grab or settle a grudge; nor am I asking for Sysop powers because of my seniority or because I think I've 'earned it'. @Tuma55: As far as I am aware, he's never been rightfully blocked for vandalism. If I am wrong, I'd very much like to see the evidence.

@SS7: He said pretty clearly that he is not requesting this because he thinks he has "earned it". And anyways, why would you judge a member by their number of edits? It's the quality of the edits that count. And in addition, BC does a lot of important maintenance work, which most likely wouldn't have been done without him.

EDIT: And it looks like almost every admin has voted for (Matoro1 and Toa Makao still haven't voted). And most of our community has voted. I think we have a pretty clear result, but I'd like to settle this discussion before doing anything. - Mata Nui   Talk 14:57, February 18, 2011 (UTC)

For the record, I was banned because a Sysop here didn't realize that he was rollbacking a series of massive edits I made to the Ignika page (instead of just undoing an small edit). In the end, I was actually right, and I was proven right. The bannishment was an overreaction/mistake. --Bold Clone 02:22, February 19, 2011 (UTC)

And on top of all that, do we really need another sysop? Toa 95 was just promoted a few weeks ago and since BP merged back with TBW their two admins have become sysops here too. Making a grand total of...7 admins! Their has'nt been seven admins here since Daiku was an admin back two years ago. I never said I would be a full-time Staffer. I simply can't, because I don't have the time, what with college. I would be a semi-active staffer, leaving most of the day-to-day work to others.
