The Thumpers were tools used by Whenua during his time as a Toa Hordika. They were mutated versions of Whenua's Earthshock Drills. In addition to charging his Rhotuka Earth spinner, he could use them to summon subterranean Rahi. The Thumpers were later changed back into Earthshock Drills when Keetongu counteracted the Visorak Venom mutating the Toa Metru.
