Turahk were Rahkshi of Fear, and one of forty-two possible breeds of Rahkshi.

History[]

After the failure of his first three Rahkshi, a Turahk was created by Makuta Teridax to seek out the Kanohi Avohkii and prevent the foretold bearer of the mask from putting it on.

The Turahk showed up in Onu-Koro, where it faced Toa Pohatu and Onua Nuva. During the battle, Vorahk drained Onua's power, and Pohatu attempted to help his fallen ally, but Turahk stunned Pohatu with Fear. The Rahkshi were defeated after Onua brought rocks from the ceiling of the cave down upon them, but it resulted in the collapse of Onu-Koro.

Turahk is also the Rahkshi that killed Jaller, after he sacrificed himself to save Takua. Afterward, he was then stunned by light from Takanuva and later built into the Ussanui with the other Rahkshi parts.

Teridax chose Turahk as one of his Rahkshi, since his power is the enemy of courage: The prospect of Ta-Matoran.

Abilities and Traits[]

Using his staff, Turahk could induce anything from slight unease to sheer terror in his foes, as shown in BIONICLE: Mask of Light, when he inspires fear in Pohatu Nuva. A foe being struck by the blast would either run away in panic or remain rooted to the spot in sheer terror.

Turahk Kraata were reddish gold/bright red.

Set Information[]

Turahk uses its Staff of Power to create feelings of hear in his opponents, making them freeze in place or run away in panic. Turahk is a master of stealth and seems to appear and disappear at will.[1]

  • A Turahk was released as a canister set in 2003. Its set number was 8592.
  • Turahk contained 45 pieces.
