Wahi was the Matoran word meaning "region". There were six Wahi on Mata Nui, before the island was cleaned by the Bohrok.
- Ta-Wahi, the region of Fire and the location of Ta-Koro.
- Ga-Wahi, the region of Water and the location of Ga-Koro.
- Le-Wahi, the region of Air and the location of Le-Koro.
- Po-Wahi, the region of Stone and the location of Po-Koro.
- Onu-Wahi, the region of Earth and the location of Onu-Koro.
- Ko-Wahi, the region of Ice and the location of Ko-Koro.
